You will be picked up from your hotel and taken to the historic Sultanahmet area. You will first see the Hippodrome where horse and chariot racing once took place. There you will be able to see the Serpent Column, the Egyptian Obelisk which originally stood in Egypt around 1450 B.C., the Walled Obelisk, and the German Fountain. Next you will see the Blue Mosque which earned its name from
the more than 20,000 blue and yellow Iznik tiles inside. You will then cross the street to see the Hagia Sophia Museum which was originally built as a church, converted into a mosque, and now stands as a museum. You will then be transferred over to the dazzling Grand Bazaar where there are approximately 4,000 stores waiting for you inside of this covered shopping area. Finally, you will see Topkapi Palace which now stands a museum, but once housed 400 years worth of Ottoman Sultans.
